Let God Multiply Your Fish

After the death of Jesus the disciples were scattered. They returned to the work they were doing when Jesus called had called them to follow him.

Peter was a fisherman by trade it is suggested that he returned to fishing after Jesus’ death.

Peter had been fishing and not getting a good catch. I’m sure he often wondered why he had not caught any fish. Imagine how deep the sea would be with a large fishing boat and a large net.

Just as in life it’s a BIG world and there are a lot of places we can cast our nets. Some may not be the right places. Therefore we need to ask God for guidance as to where we should cast. God’s way is always the best way. If we trust is Jesus he will lead us and guide us to where we need to be.

Jesus appeared to Peter as he was not catching any fish. Jesus told Peter to cast his net onto the other side of the boat. When Peter did he caught many many fish but the net did not break.

We need to be fishers of men and to cast our net onto the otter side of the boat and catch fish for the King. It’s important just as Peter knew to listen to the voice of Jesus so he will multiply your fish.
