Hiding From God

Numbers: 32:23

Be sure your sin will find you out.

Often times we do things and think that no one can see us. We’ll often whisper so that no one hears us talk about our friend or neighbor. All the time we think that we are concealing something BUT someone always knows what we are doing and someone always hears us! There isn’t anything we can hide from God.

Matthew 10:30 tells us that even the hairs on our head are numbered. If God knows how much hair we have, how could we not think he knows are thoughts or sees our actions?

We need to realize that there is NOTHING we can hide from God. Romans 3:23 tells us that we have all sinned and come short of the Glory of God. If we keep in mind that god knows our hearts, then we will also know what we have to die daily as Luke tells us in Luke 9:23 take up thy cross daily, and follow me. We have to seek gods face, and repent daily.

Luke 19:10 Tells us that Jesus came to seek and to save to lost.

God will seek us, even at times when we don’t seek him.

*Conviction of sin is evidence that God is seeking

*God speaking through his word shows he is seeking

*Sometimes God seeks through trials

*Sometimes he seeks through preachers

*Sometimes he seeks through caring friends

With this is seems that God is always seeking us, trying to show us he is there; if God is seeking us then we should always be seeking him.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Revelation 22:17

If you’ve been “trying” to hide from God keep in mind… We serve a God that knows everything! Opposed to trying to hide from God or hide things in our life from in… Pray and seek his face, hide in his mercy and in love. Stop trying to hide from him and hide in him
