Another Valley?

No one ever promised that being a Christian would be a bed of roses. We too have trials; we walk through valleys and at times we have high mountains to climb. But God promised that he would never leave us nor forsake us. No matter what we face in our lives or even in our walk with God he is with us. As long as we don’t lose sight of him he will never leave us. Trials can be as simple as things in our everyday life. Perhaps the car didn’t start. You had a flat on the way to work, or spending time with a friend left you burdened for their soul, or offended by their actions.

No matter what trials we face or what valley we must walk through The 23 Psalm tells us that we shouldn’t fear God will comfort us.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

I wouldn’t want to face a single trial, walk through a valley, or fight a battle not sheltered in the comfort of God’s great love. Ohhh how wonderful it is to knowing that we win the battle, knowing what comes after the storm, what lies beyond the valley.

No matter what you face remember that God loves you, he is there for you and he will comfort your heart if you only ask it and believe in him. Have faith that God will get you through! When you face a valley Remember that He is the Lilly of the Valley, and even in the deepest valley a beautiful flower can bloom. The valley’s and the trials are what makes us strong. We find when we have nothing else we have God.

Be thankful for the valley for it is in the valley we are made strong.
