I Talked to God Today
 
I talked to God today as I sat in His home, my church.

I thanked Him for my many blessings of world of beauty, friends, and family
I also thanked Him for my health and the ability to stay active over and above my illness.

I made special note of my Yakker friends.
And my children whom I am very proud.

'Course, I couldn't leave out my beloved grandchildren.
They are the ones who provide the physical side of my life --- the hugs, kisses etc.

My friends in my circle provide the emotional support which I need every day and they are only a mesage away.
My children provide the vocal part of my life.

My God provides my spiritual life and keeps my faith strong through sharing His body and blood with me at His Supper.
I talked to God today.  He shared His Supper with me in His home.

He reminded me that He is always with me.
He reminded me that I am loved no matter what sins that I have committed.

He held my hand to let me know that He was beside me and would never leave me.
I said, "I love You, Lord. Please strengthen my faith."

Then it was time to go.  I didn't want to leave His home.
But He assured me that I was welcome anytime and that He would always be there for me.
